For more than 150 years, L'Ancienne École has been part of the heritage of Palau-del-Vidre. Housed in a former village school built in 1868, our restaurant welcomes you to a place where history, authenticity and gastronomy come together.
Since 2001, Baptiste and Émilie Gaillard have carried on the restaurant's philosophy: offering seasonal French cuisine, entirely homemade, prepared with fresh ingredients carefully selected from local producers.
Awarded the prestigious "Maître Restaurateur" title, L'Ancienne École showcases the richness of the region through a menu inspired by the seasons and local producers.
